From the moment when, thanks especially to Irnerio, Bologna became the most famous center of studies in Europe, it also became a special place of attraction for foreigners. The walk will start from one of the most important places in the city: the Basilica of San Domenico where we will admire the Tomb of the Saint on which artists such as Nicola Pisano, Arnolfo di Cambio and Michelangelo Buonarroti worked. We will continue to the Reale Collegio di Spagna, a noble institution with a centuries-old history and wanted by Cardinal Egidio Albornoz, and then on to the Archiginnasio Palace. The Jazz Road will allow us to discover an important page of our musical history (Bologna is Unesco City of Music) while we will unveil more secrets in the evocative spaces of the Museo Civico Medievale. The visit will end at the Palazzo Comunale of which we will have the opportunity to discover the magnificent rooms of the Apartment of the Cardinal Legate: once again you will be amazed by the wonders of the city.
