Guido Reni in Bologna

Called "divine Guido" by his contemporaries, he is considered one of the greatest exponents of 17th century classicism and one of the most representative painters of the 17th century Emilian school together with Carracci, Francesco Albani, Guercino, Domenichino and Giovanni Lanfranco, as well as one of the main protagonists of Baroque painting in Rome and Bologna.
