Some of the University of Bologna’s most precious works of art will be on display in the Palazzo Poggi Museum between December 21st 2018 and February 3rd 2019.

The portrait of Giovanni II Bentivoglio and the Brussels tapestries date back to the Renaissance and are unique artistic objects finally go on display after years of restoration work and accurate research. The tapestries, on temporary display, testify to an extraordinary event that combines sophisticated manufacture and the lucky American adventure of an Italian emigrant during the Reconstruction period.
