Bologna
Jazz music and much more will be on show when the Vivid Voices choir from Hanover and Coro da camera giovanile dell'Emilia Romagna will perform in the evocative setting of the historic municipal palace. Vivid Voices is the University of Hanover jazz choir, made up of 45 students and it is one of the best vocal groups in Europe who are able to combine environmental sounds typical of northern Europe with influences from the pop, swing and modern jazz worlds. It is directed by the multi-award winning jazz singer Claudia Burghard. Coro Giovanile dell’Emilia Romagna, set up by Associazione Emiliano Romagnola Cori, is made up of choir members ranging from 18 to 35-year-olds from throughout the region. Conducted by Ilaria Cavalca, an excellent pianist with a chamber music background, the Choir collaborates with vibraphonist M° Edoardo Ponzi. In case of rain, the concert will be held in the Cappella Farnese.
