This event was first thought, planned and organized in 2009 by the Zivieri family that, at the time, was the owner of the butchery in Monzuno on the Bolognese Apennine. This intiative takes place in memory of Massimo Zivieri, the family company’s founder and committed supporter of values such as ethical animal rearing and controlled food supply chain. Chef…al Massimo has soon become a tradition not only for customers of the historic butchery, but also for food lovers and experts. Over the years more than 20.000 people took part in the event, together with 50 cooks and pastry chefs from all over Italy.
As always the event will begin at 11.30am with the opening speech of the Zivieri family and of the institutional partners. During the day there will be a puppet show of the “Compagnia Burattini di Riccardo” for children and the ever present concert of Maestro Fio Zanotti and his Super Band.
