General description
Guided visit to Casa Covili, in Pavullo nel Frignano, a precious place for approaching the human and artistic universe of Gino Covili, a painter who was able to portray the Apennines with a uniquely powerful expressive force.
The itinerary moves through spaces and materials that convey the artist’s deep bond with his homeland: artworks, testimonies, documents, and traces of daily work help visitors understand his imagination shaped by faces, landscapes, memory, hardship, and poetry. Entering Casa Covili means immersing oneself in a narrative that speaks of community and identity, of traditions and change, while closely observing the vision of an artist who transformed the experience of mountain life into intense, instantly recognizable images.
For the Covili family, art, beauty, and culture are values to be communicated and shared. Thanks to their passion, you will discover the world of Covili as they recount the works, share life anecdotes, and convey the emotion and sense of wonder they themselves experience every day in front of Gino Covili’s masterpieces.
