Palazzo Bonfiglioli - A journey among villas and castles

Come and discover the history of Villa Bonfiglioli! From the Bonfiglioli senatorial family to the Princes of Orléans, right up to the current owners, the villa retains its square layout, reminiscent of a small castle, typical of the historic country residences of the Bologna plain. The tour will take you through open loggias and rooms frescoed with Neo-Pompeian motifs. Finally, you will stroll through the park, amongst centuries-old trees and plants, where you can admire Camillo Bersani’s sculpture of the Hidalgo, a silent knight standing guard over the villa and its ancient memories.
