Palazzo Bonfiglioli - A journey among villas and castles

Come and discover the history of Villa Bonfiglioli! From the Bonfiglioli senatorial family to the Princes of Orléans, and on to the current owners, the villa retains its square layout, similar to a small castle, typical of historic country residences in the Bologna plain. The tour will take you through loggias and rooms frescoed with neo-Pompeian motifs. Finally, you will stroll through the park, among centuries-old trees and plants, where you can admire Camillo Bersani's sculpture of the Hidalgo, a silent knight placed there to protect the villa and its ancient memories.

The guided tour is part of the “A journey among villas and castle” exhibition.
