Description
The tours at the Opificio delle Acque will take place again in September.
Discover the Opificio delle Acque (Watersworks), the city's hydraulic network regulation point and home of Canali di Bologna. You will visit the photographic exhibition "Hidden Canals in Bologna in the Twentieth Century," see a large hydraulic wheel and learn about the history of the building that was founded in the seventeenth century as a tannery and is now an educational-documentary center.
Itinerary Overview: Opificio delle Acque - underground chamber of the Opificio with the remains of the former hydroelectric power station, reconstruction of the water wheel, photographic exhibition Canali Nascosti (Hidden Canals), canal room and scale model of the old leather mill.
