World-class tennis returns to the spotlight in Bologna. From 24 to 29 November 2026, the BolognaFiere Arena will host the 2026 Davis Cup Final 8 (Davis Cup by Generali Final 8), the final stage of the men’s world team tennis championship.
The defending champions, Italy – fresh from their historic triumph in the last three consecutive editions (2023, 2024 and 2025) – will take to the court in front of their home crowd to defend their title and claim a fourth consecutive Davis Cup in the picturesque setting of the Emilian capital.

Following the qualifying rounds in September, the knockout draw for the Final 8 in Bologna has been officially confirmed. Italy, seeded number one alongside Spain , Germany and the Czech Republic , will make their debut in the quarter-finals against the Republic of Korea .

Who will be participating?
Given the national teams at stake, the world’s top-ranked players on the ATP tour will take the court. Alcaraz and Zverev will lead their national teams and will electrify the crowd in Bologna.
Unfortunately, Jannik Sinner will not be playing for Italy, as he has announced he is sitting out the remainder of the 2026 season due to injury. The players selected are Musetti, Cobolli and Darderi, in addition to the doubles champions Bolelli and Vavassori.
