On Monday, 10 August 2026, from 9:30 pm, the Athos Guidastri Velodrome in Parco del Ginepreto, Pianoro, will host The Night of the Shooting Stars.
Join astronomers and science communicators from INAF OAS Bologna and Sofos APS for a fascinating exploration of the night sky. Using a powerful astronomical laser, they will guide participants through constellations, planets, and the wonders of the celestial vault during the most enchanting time of the year to watch shooting stars.
The evening will also feature telescope observations and a live performance by harpist Gabriele Giunchi, creating a unique experience that brings together science, music, and nature.
Bring a mat or blanket to relax on the grass and enjoy this unforgettable night under the stars.
