IT.A.CÀ is the first festival in Italy and Europe dedicated to responsible, sustainable, and inclusive tourism.
The National Network IT.A.CÀ returns for its 17th edition from September 12 to October 19, 2025. Discover the full program on the official website
Born in Bologna in 2009 and awarded by the United Nations UNWTO, it now involves numerous Italian territories with a rich calendar of events, itineraries, workshops, and meetings open to citizens, travelers, and industry experts. The Bologna stop, the heart of the festival since its inception, offers activities that intertwine exploration, culture, and participation: walks, bike rides, urban and rural trekking, workshops, performances and discussion moments.
The common thread is a new way to travel and inhabit places, focusing on community, sustainability, and inclusion. From the historic center to the Apennines, passing through the plains and hills and all the way to Modena, IT.A.CÀ invites you to discover the territories with new eyes, enhancing landscapes, heritage, and often hidden stories. An opportunity to live authentic experiences and reflect together on how tourism can be a tool for knowledge, equity, and social transformation.
