“Crinali” is much more than a simple event: it’s a true show through the Bolognese Apennines, a blaze of creative walks, dominated by beautiful locations, landscapes, towns, paths and mountain ridges.
Amidst the beechwoods and the chestnut groves, the curious wanderers will never feel lonely, for their path will be accompanied by musicians, storytellers and artists who, in the guise of magical inhabitants of the forest, might appear unexpectedly to entertain their guests with stories, musical performances and the most diverse forms of art.
Thanks to a varied event programme from the 1st of July to the 31st of December 2020, this three-season festival will introduce you to the beauties and the timeless changing landscapes of the Bolognese Apennines, with the support of the Metropolitan City of Bologna and Emilia-Romagna’s Culture and Landscape Department.
Part of the trails will intersect some stretches of the Alta Via dei Parchi, the Via della Lana e della Seta, the Via degli Dei, the Via Mater Dei, the Via Piccola Cassia and finally the Gothic Line.
A free performance, suitable for all tastes, will take place every day along a different trail, and won’t require any particular hiking skill to be attended.
