From May 27 to June 28, 2026, the Bologna hills become the stage for the 27th edition of Zola Jazz & Wine, the historic festival promoted by the Municipality of Zola Predosa.
An unforgettable experience where live jazz meets outstanding local wine production and the lunar landscape of the Zola Predosa Gypsum Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Starting from its title – Gessi in Jazz – this new edition reflects its widespread identity and its journey through the wineries, farms and symbolic places of Zola Predosa, with events also in Casalecchio di Reno and Monte San Pietro, transformed for a month into open-air stages where jazz dialogues with food, wine and the nature of the Bolognese Hills.
The festival – part of Bologna Estate, the programme of activities promoted and coordinated by the Municipality of Bologna and the Metropolitan City of Bologna, Bologna-Modena Tourist Territory – with the artistic direction of Egea Records (Claudio Carboni and Carlo Maver), offers a programme that crosses different musical languages and geographies: from contemporary jazz to Latin influences, from solo improvisations to Mediterranean and Balkan sounds, with established artists from the national and international scene alongside original and experimental projects.
Each event is accompanied by tastings from the wineries of the Bolognese Hills of the Emilia-Romagna Consortium, Felsineo mortadella and Parmigiano Reggiano, in a journey focused on conviviality, listening and the discovery of local excellence.
