From 3 to 31 July 2025, within the evocative setting of Zu.Art – Giardino delle Arti of the Fondazione Zucchelli, the seventh edition of International Jazz & Art Performing returns with a new programme titled "The Sound of Jazz".
Organised in collaboration with the Department of New Languages and Musical Technologies of the G.B. Martini Conservatoire of Bologna, the project offers a captivating journey through the most iconic sounds of jazz, a blend of elegance, experimentation, and cultural crossovers. The spotlight will be on the young talents of the Conservatoire, joined by faculty members and distinguished guest artists of national and international renown. Each evening will explore a different soul of jazz: from the refined aesthetic of ECM Records, to the visionary genius of Thelonious Monk, from the unmistakable groove of Blue Note, to the vibrant charm of Brazilian music, culminating in a final concert featuring original compositions by students.

The full programme will be broadcast live by Radio Oltre, the web radio of the Francesco Cavazza Institute for the Blind, which will also present a live DJ set from Zu.Art before each concert.
On each concert evening, the public will also have the opportunity to visit the group exhibition Dietro tutte le cose, featuring works by the winners of the Zucchelli Competition 2024 and the Art Up 2024 Prizes, curated by the Parsec collective.
A refreshment area, curated by Afrodita Chef, will be available upon reservation.
