Bologna
Considered the silhouette of the nineteenth-century classical ballets, "Swan Lake" is a story of love, betrayal and triumph of good over the evil. Full of romance and beauty, this ballet has delighted the public for over a century. The choreography requires, in its execution, great technique and skill of the dancers. The representation of the characters, in particular in the comparison between the purity of the White Swan and the darkness of the Black Swan, requires virtuosity and a strong dramatic talent on the part of solo dancers, culminating in the two 'grand pas de deux' in the second and third scene. The staging of Russian Classical Ballet exalts romantic poetry, presenting a production with sumptuous sets, refined costumes and a star-driven cast of the international ballet scene.
