Satèn Saxophone Quartet | Classica in Sneakers

Monday July 20, 2026 at Birreria Popolare in Bologna, the Satèn Saxophone Quartet performs as part of the series Classical in Sneakers.

Four saxophones can be orchestra, quartet, and band all at once: the Satèn Saxophone Quartet builds a program that moves across cities, languages, and styles, alternating contemporary works, tango, and reimagined repertoire.

From Escaich’s “Tango Virtuoso” to Piazzolla, and a Rossini rearranged for quartet, the concert highlights the versatility of the saxophone: a compact and brilliant sound, capable of singing and driving rhythm, transforming each piece into a landscape. An event for those who love chamber music when it becomes a journey.
