From 11 to 13 September 2026, the historic centre of San Giovanni in Persiceto will host SanGioInCanta, a music contest created to showcase young talent, promote live music and provide opportunities for artists, industry professionals and audiences to meet.

The 2026 edition will take place from 11 to 13 September and will involve singers, bands and artists aged 6 to 50 from across Italy. Over the three days, the town centre will become a widespread stage dedicated to music, featuring live performances, training sessions, meetings with music industry professionals, masterclasses and other activities for participants and audiences.

The initiative aims to promote San Giovanni in Persiceto and its local area through culture and music, creating an event that brings together residents, visitors, associations and local organisations.

The event will culminate in the final on 13 September, when the best artists selected by the jury will be awarded.

Participating artists are required to submit an application according to the procedures indicated on the official website.

In the event of bad weather, the organisers reserve the right to announce changes to or cancellations of the programme. No alternative date is scheduled.
