Laudes Creaturarum

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 8:30 pm, in the Church of Santa Maria della Pietà in Bologna, the Associazione Amade’, with its Choir and Orchestra conducted by Maestro Juan Miranda, presents the world premiere of Laudes Creaturarum by Bruno D’Astoli, in the presence of the composer himself.

The work, inspired by Saint Francis’ Canticle of the Creatures and by medieval liturgical drama, combines musical research with a profound spiritual dimension, in a sacred setting conceived by the composer as the ideal space for its performance.

The evening opens with a special appearance by Argentine violinist Pablo Saraví, who will perform Ottorino Respighi’s Suite No. 3 and the Adagio from K. 63 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

An event bringing together great repertoire, contemporary music and spirituality, marking the 800th anniversary of the birth of Saint Francis.
