Le avventure del vascello fantasma - Baby BoFe’

On Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM, the Teatro dell'Antoniano in Bologna presents the performance The Adventures of the Ghost Ship, as part of Baby BoFe’.

The sea was in the midst of a raging storm, and the sailors claimed they had seen the Flying Dutchman rising from the mist aboard his black vessel. So goes an ancient legend telling of a ghost ship condemned to sail forever, with its mysterious captain and a crew of specters. Amid the sounds of a storm-tossed sea inhabited by sea monsters, the sailors’ songs, and the silence of zombies, a gentle melody rises from the waves: it is Senta’s song, the graceful young woman who, through her boundless love, believes she can save that elusive sailor.

In this free adaptation of Der fliegende Holländer (The Flying Dutchman) by Richard Wagner, the arias and choral sections performed during the show are adapted into Italian.
