From Nairobi to Newark, from 1964 to 2024 for the 60-year career of Kool & The Gang, the super band led by Robert “Kool” Bell whose iconic songs like Celebration, Ladies Night and Get Down on It have won two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards and 31 gold and platinum albums.
Their bulletproof funk and jazzy arrangements have made them the most sampled R&B band of all time.
