Komarov Magnificent Backflip | Covo Club

Saturday May 9, 2026, Komarov Magnificent Backflip will perform at the Covo Club in Bologna.

The project Komarov Magnificent Backflip was born in a dirty, damp basement in Bologna’s San Donato district. After a few lineup changes, the quartet settled with Riccardo, Daniele, Thom, and Roda. In 2023, they released their first self-produced and self-distributed album, Fingerblaster, featuring 8 tracks recorded in a rehearsal space in front of a suburban Lidl. In 2024, they won the selection for La Zona D’Ombra, organized by Bronson Recordings. In July 2025, they recorded what will become their new album, to be released in May on the label, preceded by the standalone single Better Fat Than Sad, released on February 6.
