Isidore String Quartet

On Monday, July 1, 2024 at the Cortile dell'Archiginnasio in concert in Bologna come Isidore String Quartet.
Isidore String Quartet consists of Phoenix Avalon, violin, Adrian Steele on violin, Devin Moore, viola, and Joshua McClendon on cello.
The New York-based Isidore String Quartet formed in 2019 with the goal of revisiting, rediscovering and updating the string quartet repertoire. They are experts in the “Alexander Technique,” which allows them to explore and develop body awareness and mental preparedness and apply them to live performance. For their Italian debut, the only stop Bologna, the Isidore brings a program that intrigues by the particularity of its cross-references, the very classic Mendelssohn with Britten and the contemporary Dinuk Wijeratne.
