IN SHADOW / a solo with a ghost

A work between performance, sound, and movement, created for the space of the Castello di Mongiorgio, featuring dancer and choreographer Francesca Duranti and Greek musician and scientist Kostis Gardikis, whose project Dance with Invisible Partners blends dark electronic music with oriental elements.

In shadow. Eclipses follow one another, arousing wonder. We communicate silently. We cross mountain ranges and stretches of sea that thus shift and are renamed. The shadow conceals and reveals. A dialogue with the ghost, with your absent presence; at a distance - for a moment - I glimpse you.

At the solstice, the boundaries of things grow uncertain, and in uncertainty I finally manage to remain. The light dims and perception sharpens. I no longer see, but I feel infinitely.
