On Monday, 30 March 2026, the Basilica dei Servi in Bologna will host the Grand Easter Concert - A Bridge of Music between Bologna and Bavaria.
Bologna's musical excellence joins hands with the German talent of the Kammerchor Straubing. It is not just a concert, but an intercultural twinning that breaks down all boundaries through the universal language of great sacred music. A unique opportunity to experience the magic of sacred music.
Programme: From the contemplation of J.S. Bach's “Ruht wohl” to the dramatic grandeur of G. Rossini's Stabat Mater. Bringing together Bach (Lutheran rigour and faith) and Rossini (the passion and warmth of Italian Catholicism) is a perfect tribute to the collaboration between the Kammerchor Straubing and the Cappella Musicale dei Servi.
