Original Skiantos returns: Pesissimi in concert at Battiferro

The Pesissimi are coming to the Sostegno del Battiferro for an evening brimming with Bologna charm, irony, nostalgia, guitars and glorious, zany rock. A journey through the (mis)adventures of the legendary Skiantos, featuring nonsense, punk, provocation, off-key songs and sheer genius. As part of the Un etto di Bologna series, the Navile comes alive with a night of singing, laughter and memories: the Skiantos’ freest, most irreverent and quintessentially Bolognese spirit returns beneath the stars at the Battiferro. This line-up bears a name that pays a direct and heavyweight tribute – albeit with a wry smile – to the Skiantos’ legacy and their unmistakable stage presence.

The (aff)founding members Stefano “Sbarbo” Cavedoni and Andrea “Andy Bellombrosa” Dallavalle, assisted – including medically, as certain feats require caution – by Stefano “Bitto Bitume” Bittelli on bass and Carlo “Rullo Frullo” Cavazzoni on drums, retrace all the (in)successes of the legendary Skiantos.

Songs that have achieved cult status, fragments of the city’s memory, off-the-wall antics, mockery, flashes of punk, surreal inventions, sing-along slogans and that quintessentially Bolognese taste for paradox that asks no permission.
