Finalissima Bulåggna Sound

After an extraordinary journey spanning seven evenings, featuring twenty-seven original songs in competition and drawing thousands of spectators from across the metropolitan area, on Friday 14 August 2026 Bulåggna Sound reaches its final showdown with a show hosted by Marco Piazza, creator of the project, and Silvia Parma.

The selection of the finalists began during the Bologna Portici Festival in Piazza della Pace, with a special appearance by Andrea Mingardi, patron and inspiration behind the event, and continued across six cultural districts in the area (from San Benedetto Val di Sambro to San Giovanni in Persiceto, as well as San Lazzaro di Savena, Castenaso, Medicina and Casalecchio di Reno), attracting new audiences at every stage alongside a loyal following of enthusiasts. The event exceeded all expectations thanks to the variety of musical genres presented, ranging from traditional melodies to rock and rap.

For the final evening, on the stage in Piazza Maggiore starting at 8:00 p.m., the winners of the individual stages will compete with their original songs:

• Gruppo emiliano di musica popolare with Tranvài
• Nicolò Quercia and Carlotta Marchesini de la Filuzzeria with La ragazèla
• Honolulu Gang with Al frustèn
• I Sensa Sipario with Dè ed festa
• Cristian Grassilli with Al dè d'incù
• Lorenzo Thompson Bisabuga with Bolo rap
• Federico Cinti with La bambòza

The competition will also feature special appearances and performances by leading figures of the Bolognese music scene, including Fausto Carpani (accompanied by Antonio Stragapede) and Franz Campi.
