A pianist alone on stage. And around him a set of five different "key" instruments: a grand piano, a prepared piano, a harpsichord, an electronic keyboard and a toy piano. This is augenmusik, music for the eyes as well as the ears: Emanuele Arciuli's recital is dedicated to the music of the New World. A vast, eclectic, multifaceted continent, crossed by conflicting tensions, of which Arciuli has long had a special map, drawn "in the field". Alongside him, on the same horizon, is the refined "sound design" of Nicola Monopoli.
