Connecting Stages is an experience that brings together music, visual art and human connection through three artistic journeys that converge in a single journey.
The evening opens with a DJ set by DJ Mortimer, a leading figure in the Italian New Wave and Post-Punk scene, active since 1982 and now at the helm of Backonwave, a project dedicated to New Wave and Post-Punk culture.
Next up is **Alessio Bertallot**, musician, DJ and author, one of the most recognisable voices in Italian independent music culture. From Aeroplanitaliani to *B Side* on Radio Capital, he has explored and promoted new sonic languages through radio, research and performance.
Throughout the event, Offset – a visual research collective and programme founded in Bologna in collaboration with Link Academy – will transform the spaces of the Cassero through constantly evolving immersive projections.
Connecting Stages stems from the idea of exploring the relationship between inner life and connection, depth and surface, identity and transformation: a descent into the layers of the self followed by an ascent, understood as an opportunity to re-emerge changed and to redefine the way we relate to our surroundings.
The event is organised by Marenco Club, the cultural arm of Marenco Dental Clinic and an independent project dedicated to the convergence of art, music and contemporary forms of expression.
