Concert of two wind band

On May 10, 2025, in the Aula Magna of Santa Lucia, as part of the MusicAteneo 2025 festival, a double concert for wind orchestras will take place.

Opening the evening will be the CFU, the Collegium Musicum University Philharmonic Band: founded less than three years ago through the spontaneous initiative of a group of students, the University of Bologna's band now has 35 members, most of whom are students.

Following this, the Blaskapelle from BOKU University in Vienna will perform: dressed in traditional attire, the band will present a repertoire that will make it hard for the audience to stay seated, taking listeners on a musical journey from classic Viennese waltzes by Strauss to the irresistible ABBA Gold medley.
