New Year’s Concert - Colossal

On Thursday, 1 January 2026, at 6:00 p.m., the Bologna Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the New Year’s Concert “Colossal” at the Manzoni Auditorium Theatre.

From Indiana Jones to Pirates of the Caribbean, from Harry Potter to Sergio Leone’s Wild West, and through the galaxies of Star Wars, we will hear the unforgettable melodies of John Williams, the powerful atmospheres of Hans Zimmer, the sonic poetry of Ennio Morricone, and works by other composers who have turned the cinematic experience into pure emotion: an evening in which music rekindles images, memories, and worlds beyond the screen.

Celebrate the New Year with scores brought back to life in a special form, thanks to the arrangements and direction of Maestro Roberto Molinelli, who leads the FTCB on a journey rich in intensity and wonder.
