Cartoline da un sogno – Appunti per pianoforte (Postcards from a Dream – Notes for Piano)

On Thursday, 11 December 2025, at 9:00 p.m., at Teatro Mazzacorati 1763, pianist Marco Beretta presents a musical and human journey—an inner path narrated through the piano.

In the concert Postcards from a Dream – Notes for Piano, each piece is a small postcard, a fragment of life and sound emerging like in a dream: images, memories, emotions, encounters. The pianist retraces his own musical story, from his first wonder at sound to the discovery of the various languages that have shaped his path: classical music, jazz, contemporary soundscapes, and improvisation.

The piano thus becomes the voice of a dream that travels through time: a place where experiences intertwine and transform, where music becomes storytelling, introspection, and revelation. A soundscape that gradually unfolds, as though—turning over one postcard after another—you were recomposing the secret map of your own life.
