Bolognese choral music restarts with CantaBO, the Choral Festival that opens in autumn.
CantaBO is a creative festival, open to the different souls of vocal expression and for this reason it takes the name "Out and Inside the Lines".
The collaboration with the International Music Museum of Bologna is very welcome news of this edition.
This year the theme of the Festival is the theme of the Journey, understood as a metaphor and aspiration to follow virtue and knowledge, as a desire to re-discover or re-read ancient or other musical worlds...We will begin our musical journey with an absolute premiere: a new composition by Simone Campanini, in the form of an Oratorio on the ancient text of the "Song of Songs".
Oratorio for solos, choir and chamber orchestra text: Holy Scripture music by Simone Campanini characters and performers: She: Bryony Lang Him: Raffaele Giordani Friends: "City of Parma" Choir Bazzini Consort Direction: Aram Khacheh Church of Saints Bartolomeo and Gaetano.
