Bologna Jazz Festival

This 2025 edition of the Bologna Jazz Festival, running from 9 October to 16 November, offers more than 80 concerts featuring leading names on the international jazz scene, as well as exhibitions, lecture-concerts, conferences, screenings, podcasts, artist residencies and workshops.

From the city centre, the festival extends into the metropolitan area, reaching the provinces of Ferrara and Forlì.

Among the big names in contemporary jazz, the BJF hosts artists such as Billy Cobham (28 October), Mary Halvorson (2 November), Dee Dee Bridgewater (4 November) and Monty Alexander (13 November).
