Saturday October 24, 2026 at 8:30 PM at the Oratorio San Filippo Neri in Bologna, as part of the series Great Soloists, Great Masters, Dejan Bogdanovich, violin; Francesco Comisso, violin; Pierre Henri Xuereb, viola; Stefano Cerrato, cello; and Olaf Laneri, piano perform in concert.
The program is dedicated to the piano quintet repertoire, featuring two landmark works of chamber music: the Quintet in F minor by C. Franck (1879), one of the peaks of late Romantic production, and the Quintet in G minor, Op. 57 by D. Shostakovich (1940), whose premiere was an immediate success.
