All’Opera! | Teatro del Baraccano

On Friday, July 31, 2026, the 21st edition of Atti Sonori comes to a close with the concert ALL'OPERA! Overtures and Intermezzi from the Greatest Italian Operas at Teatro del Baraccano in Bologna.

The Orchestra del Baraccano, conducted by Giambattista Giocoli, performs in a chamber ensemble of eight musicians with original arrangements, presenting overtures, preludes and intermezzi from some of the finest works of the Italian operatic tradition: from Bellini's Norma to Verdi's The Force of Destiny, Puccini's Manon Lescaut and Rossini's famous overture to The Barber of Seville. The programme also includes the intermezzi from Leoncavallo's Pagliacci and Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana, along with other celebrated masterpieces of Italian opera.

Before the concert, at 7:30 pm, a guided tour of the Church of Baraccano, organised by the Mirarte Association, will be offered.

At the end of the concert, guests will be invited to enjoy complimentary tastings of refreshing summer specialties provided by Fabbri 1905 and Regina di Quadri.
