Pint of Science

"Pint of Science" is back in Bologna: the largest international festival of popular science that chooses as venues pubs, bars and other places of conviviality. To host the Bolognese stage will be again Birreria Popolare, a local in the historic center of Bologna with a relaxed and warm atmosphere. Three evenings from May 9th to 11th at 8 pm in which professors and researchers of the Felsinea University will tell their discoveries and studies in progress, talking with the public in front of a beer.

Free admission in an informal, relaxed and "bubbly" setting, where you can intervene and ask questions, learning and becoming interested in science more easily. "Atom to Galaxies" is the thematic frame of the meetings hosted in Birreria Popolare, during which we will discuss renewable energy, molecules, environmental sustainability, drugs and alchemy.

Birreria Popolare is a local specialized in draft beer, located in the historic center of Bologna. A warm and welcoming place with its thorns in evidence, barrels and open cell, an upper floor with fireplace, sofas and about 100 seats, the outdoor courtyard in the summer months (this year open from May 16th). It also offers small restaurants with local products, such as those of the Forno Brisa; but in an atmosphere of freedom and informality you can also bring food from home or order it online.
