On Thursday, 11 December 2025, CNA Bologna is organizing A Dinner with Heart in Salaborsa Library, a charity dinner against gender-based violence.
The dinner aims to support the Casa delle Donne per non subire violenza (Women's House to avoid violence), a center active for over thirty years in the territory of Bologna and the Metropolitan City, which offers women shelter, listening, and support to escape violence, as well as accommodation, legal and psychological counseling, trauma psychotherapy, and parenting support.
The menu is curated by chef Michele Cocchi, already the protagonist of previous “Dinners with Heart”: the initiative, in fact, is taking place for the fourth consecutive year, always during the Christmas season. In previous editions, the “Dinner with Heart” supported the activities of Ageop for children undergoing treatment at Sant’Orsola, the Antoniano Soup Kitchen, and the Casa dei Risvegli Luca De Nigris, active in supporting people with severe brain injuries, in a vegetative state, or recovering from coma.
During the dinner, poet Beatrice Zerbini will read some of her poems, offering a powerful and sincere voice to the female universe. Writer Giulia Crippa will present a brief reading from her novel "Un mondo che odia gli uomini" ("A World that Hates Men”), a narrative work that uses fiction to help us look with new eyes at the issue of gender-based violence.
