Two days of celebration dedicated to excellent pork butchery from almost the entire country. Salami d'Italia, which will take place at the Fattoria Zivieri on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th October, will host the XVI Final of the Italian Salami Championship, in which you will be able to take part as jurors! For those who register in advance, there will be the opportunity to "judge" this special championship final, tasting the competing cured meats and expressing their preferences!
The Italian Salami Championship, now in its 16th edition, was created by the 5T Academy, a non-profit cultural association made up of companies and operators involved in the production, sale and administration of agri-food products strongly linked to the territory and tradition.
Over the course of the two days, the categories judged will be those of pink or mixed pork salami, black pig salami, fifth quarter salami, salami of more than just pork and 'Nduja. Furthermore, both Saturday and Sunday, a "Tigelle & Salami" food station will be set up: an outdoor stand to pay homage to the different salami in the competition. There will be something for all tastes!
