From September 20 to 22 and from September 27 to 30, 2024, Mezzolara will host the famous Onion Fair, the most important festival in the town, which has been attracting large crowds for years.
Created to celebrate St. Michael the Archangel, the patron saint of the town, the fair is rooted in the local agricultural tradition and is dedicated in particular to the onion, an excellent product of the area.
In the picturesque setting of Parco di Villa Rusconi, lovers of local cuisine can enjoy the specialties offered by the food stand, open every evening and also for lunch on Sunday. The program includes cultural events, shows and sports activities.
