The appointment with the typical flavors of local and autumnal cuisine translates into the Festival of Flavors and Thanksgiving, a weekend celebration in the streets of the town center. Local autumn products will be cooked on-site at various stands, with stalls selling agricultural products from the area, an exhibition of agricultural machinery, performances, music, and a market.
On Saturday, November 23, the historic center will come alive with AperiCreva, organized by the Young Umarells association. On Sunday, November 24, the focus will shift to the various stations dedicated to the investiture of the pig, the production of sausages and cotechini, fritters, autumn cured meats like ciccioli and coppa di testa, roasted chestnuts, agricultural products, honey, panettone, balsamic vinegar, borlenghi, tigelle, and sweets, many traditional dishes.
