Patata di Bologna D.O.P., a union of cultures from around the world

On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026, Piazza A. Martoni in Molinella (BO) hosts the festival dedicated to the Patata di Bologna D.O.P.

An experiential journey in which visitors will be guided through the discovery of the Patata di Bologna D.O.P., also as a universal ingredient found in the culinary traditions of the world’s major countries, organised by the Pro Loco of Molinella.

Opening: at 10:00 am on 24 October.

Exhibition area - Producers and operators from the Patata di Bologna D.O.P. supply chain.

Tasting area - 24 and 25 October - from 11:00 am at the Municipal Auditorium (Corso Mazzini 90), with meetings dedicated to discovering the Patata di Bologna D.O.P.

Demonstration area - 24 and 25 October - from 5:30 pm Show Cooking Area

Shows and entertainment area and a space dedicated to children and families with workshops and games for younger visitors aimed at discovering the product and its production cycle.

An area dedicated to tasting local specialities, and more, with the Patata di Bologna D.O.P. as the main protagonist.

Lunch: from 12:30 pm; dinner from 7:00 pm.
