Solo exhibition by Valentina Ratta, a self-taught artist, at the Galleria d'Arte Sant'Isaia in Bologna, from 7 to 26 November 2026.
She works with acrylics and oils, as well as iridescent pigments, powders and metallic leaves: materials that reflect light differently with every movement of the viewer. She began painting in December 2023, without having attended painting or photography courses.
In February 2026, after starting to take photographs with an Instax camera, she stated that she wanted to see what light does. Photography thus accompanies painting as a parallel line of research.
Opening on Saturday 7 November 2026, at 5:00 pm, with a cocktail reception.
