From December 12, 2025 to January 11, 2026, it is possible to visit the exhibition Uno Bianca. Black and White, installed in the foyer of MAMbo – Museum of Modern Art of Bologna.
One of the clearest and most sensitive witnesses to the news reporting of the Uno Bianca years, Luciano Nadalini is the photojournalist who, through his lens, followed the criminal events of the gang that for seven and a half years spread terror from Bologna to Romagna and as far as Pesaro: 23 dead, 114 injured, and 102 criminal actions carried out by six men, almost all police officers, in a series of massacres from 1987 to 1994.
The power of Nadalini’s images, vivid in their sharp black and white, almost clashes with the “tiptoeing, with due respect and silence” with which the photojournalist approached the crime scenes to bear witness to one of the darkest chapters in Italian history.
In this way, Nadalini documented the criminal acts, the arrest of the uniformed perpetrators, and the entire trial process up to the final ruling of the Court of Cassation in 2000.
Conceived and produced by Mauro Luccarini and Valeria Lorenzani, the exhibition presents to the public 38 photographs by Luciano Nadalini, with sound insertions by composer Paola Samoggia, in a newly conceived exhibition design—the Mobile Museum made available by In-Novo—which makes it possible to create traveling, mobile museums.
The exhibition is part of the program Uno Bianca for Those Who Saw It. A Story for Those Who Were Not There, a project organized by the Associazione Vittime della Uno Bianca with artistic direction by Maurizio Matrone.
