The Rediscovery of a Masterpiece: the Griffoni Polyptych

An extraordinary and world-wide event that for the first time brings together in Bologna after 300 years from its dismemberment, the 16 original plates thanks to extraordinary loans from all the owner Museums: National Gallery of London, Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan, Louvre in Paris, National Gallery of Art in Washington, Cagnola Collection of Gazzada (Va), Vatican Museums, Pinacoteca Nazionale di Ferrara, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen of Rotterdam, Vittorio Cini Collection of Venice.

The exhibition consists of two initiatives: one "The Griffoni Polyptych reborn in Bologna" focused on the altarpiece; the other "The Materiality of the Aura". New Technologies for Protection ", on the work of the Factum Foundation and the importance of new technologies in the protection and sharing of cultural heritage.
