Peggy Franck - In a Naked Room

Peggy Franck's In a Naked Room, curated by Davide Ferri, will be hosted at the Sala Convegni of the Banca di Bologna in Palazzo De' Toschi (Piazza Minghetti 4/D, Bologna) from Feb. 4 to March 2, 2025, with an opening on Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 6-10 p.m. The press preview will be held on Monday, February 3 at 10:30 am.

The exhibition explores the intersection of painting, sculpture and photography, disciplines that the artist combines to create ever-changing images and spaces. The protagonists of the intervention are large painted aluminum sheets, which are transformed into a reflective and modular floor capable of dialoguing with the exhibition space and offering the public an immersive experience. Photographs of pre-existing works and works created especially for the occasion will also be presented, expanding Franck's research to new spatial and narrative perceptions. Marginal areas and adjacent rooms of the building will also be integrated into the exhibition composition, enriching the itinerary with additional levels of interpretation.
