Lynda Benglis and Properzia de' Rossi - Art CIty 2024

MAMbo inaugurates the exhibition programme of the Project Room for the year 2024 with the exhibition Lynda Benglis and Properzia de' Rossi: Sculpitrici di capriccioso e destrissimo ingegno, curated by Lorenzo Balbi.

The exhibition proposes a dialogue between Properzia de' Rossi, a Bolognese artist who lived in the late 1400s and is considered the first woman sculptor in the history of art, and Lynda Benglis, an American artist who is considered one of the most important and irreverent living sculptors.
