The exhibition presents the life of Frida Kahlo, characterised by a difficult physical condition and at the same time by a strong capacity for reaction and resilience in the face of adversity. Frida was able to transform her immobility into opportunity and her suffering into an energy that made her immortal, a true icon of the contemporary world.
The exhibition explores all the phases of the artist's life through a unique, exciting and revealing selection of photographs: her childhood, followed by her youth, where she manifested her rebellion by dressing in men's clothes, her encounter with the love of her life - Diego Rivera - and her unfortunate death. The route also includes reconstructions of the rooms dear to the artist: the bedroom and the studio of Casa Azul. The spaces where Frida's indomitable spirit was born and grew.
Frida Kahlo The Experience - Ojos que no ven corazón que no siente is a Next Exhibition production, curated by Alejandra Lopez, in collaboration with December Sevens Duemila and Teatro EuropAuditorium.
