From April 21 to 28, 2026, the eXtraBO event space hosts the exhibition "Frida and the Others. Women’s Stories, War Stories: Fossoli 1944".
An exhibition that highlights faces and stories that passed through the Fossoli Camp: the faces of women who lived through the Second World War and whose stories recount the ways they faced the brutality of war, putting into practice forms of resistance for themselves, for their loved ones, and for a just cause. The female perspective reconstructs history as a fabric of human events and places at its center the question of how to shape the narrative that preserves the past we wish to care for.
On Tuesday April 21 at 6:00 PM, the opening and presentation of the exhibition will take place at eXtraBO, led by curator Elisabetta Ruffini, director of ISREC Bergamo.
