From 18th October, CUBO - the Unipol Group's Corporate Museum, hosts the exhibition “Filippo de Pisis. Birth of a painting” curated by Ilaria Bignotti and Maddalena Tibertelli de Pisis with the collaboration of the Association for Filippo de Pisis and of AitArt - National Association of Artist Archives".
This project was born around a painting that belongs to the artistic heritage of the Unipol Group "Landscape" (1926), which dialogues with 17 other works from renowned national collections, accompanied by a selection of literary, poetic and critical pieces written by de Pisis himself.
His pages of diaries, notes and essays, written in Ferrara, Rome, Paris, Venice and in the Brugherio clinic, are reflected into an autobiographical and deeply introspective painting, full of pain and love, nostalgia and passion
The exhibition project develops across CUBO's two locations in Porta Europa and Torre Unipol.
