Bologna
In Bologna for an artist’s residence promoted by Collegio di Cina and Bologna UNESCO City of Music as part of UNESCO Creative Cities Network, the illustrator Daisy Zuo has realized an artist’s booklet in black and white, named “Bologna a Testa in Su” (Bologna with my head up), which aim is to tell about Bologna to the many Chinese tourists visiting the city every year. The original illustrations especially made for the book, together with the sketches and the notes, will be exhibited in occasion of the 2019 edition of Bologna Children’s Book Fair, in the rooms of the Davia Bargellini Museum. For this occasion, the Chinese artist’s drawings will be matched with a few pieces of the museum collection, which will then become themselves a tool to let the Chinese public, the international Fair guests and the curious Bolognese citizens discover one of the most bizarre and enchanting places in town. All the visitors of the exhibition will be given a free copy of the book.
